    Default Gibson Lake in muskoka

Has anyone fished Gibson Lake (east of highway 400 and just north of Six mile provincial park) for walleye? If there are walleye in the lake what techniques worked well to catch them? Jigging, casting, trolling spinners or cranks, live bait, etc? Not looking for anything too specific just general information. Heading up there at the end of September and any advice would be appreciated! Thanks

Heres what I could find for you.

As for what to use....the ol' walleye standbys of jig/minnow or a worm harness are pretty hard to beat. Failing those I'd start trolling wally divers or rapalas around until I located them.

Thanks for posting the link blasted saber. The lakes we fish for walleye we always troll cranks. Will probably try that there as well. Dan

I have fished a few times as my neighbor has cottage on the lake, we found that drift jigging worked best for us but also caught trolling, not as many but locating them was difficult
