    Default Waterfowl Heritage Day

I need a bit of clarification regarding the Waterfowl Heritage Days...for the southern district, does it run for the full week? Following the guidelines it seems that the heritage days runs from Sept 16-22 and regular goose hunting can continue Sept 23...am I right? As of this Saturday I have to take the week off hunting?

    For southern district

Heritage day is only Sept 16th (one day)
Early goose season closes Sept 17th
Regular duck and goose season opens Sept 23

The issue that some people face is that goose season overlaps with heritage day so kids can be out hunting ducks and adults can still hunt geese.

So if early season goose ends on the 17th that means no hunting whatsoever for the week in between that and the regular season?. Or can you still hunt but early season daily limits no longer apply? I'm confused...

The last day to hunt early goose is the 17th and it reopens with ducks on the 23rd so no hunting starting on the 18th to the 22nd.

..unless that adult is the mentor in which then can not hunt at all.
