Default Which Rifle to use on my first rifle deer hunt?

270 wsm sako Bavarian or 6.5x55 Browning a-bolt European? I realize either will do the trick for a deer but I'm having a hard time deciding which one to use.

    The swede.

270wsm is a little much if the shots are sub 100m

It sucks to have to make that decision. You may not like the 6.5. I can help you with that!

Personally I like the 6.5 Swede and the rest of the world agrees..one of the best bullets ever developed. See my thread in the big Game forum (One for the Pole).... shot a nice deer at 100 yds with it. Dropped it where it stood.

Take both to camp. Take which ever feels better at the moment when heading into the bush.
