Scary, yes, but, accuracy is another question. The author is an environmental advocate without a scientific background. We've already seen ample evidence of fear mongering among these types who publish dubious articles based on no scientific data, whatsoever, except to toss out one statement attributed to Duke University Alzheimer research without actually publishing a link to the study. Nowhere, anywhere has there ever been scientific link as described by this author other than the usual "chicken little" doomsday scenarios. These "articles" really should be regarded as "fake news" and taken with a huge grain of salt.

Ok, having read part of the article: The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has confirmed that prions are in sewage and that there has been no way to detect them or stop them. How the heck do you confirm them if there's no way to detect them. By the sounds of it, we'll all be dead before the next deer hunt.

How do they know they are in sewage if there is no way to detect them? Something doesn't add up.

Clinically, the two conditions have radically different appearance and outcomes
The author of the tripe you posted obviously has zero grounding in science.
He must have read a couple of soft science journals... combined them in his twisted imagination... then printed his ignorance.
He is so wrong on so many counts that even non medical readers have called BS on him.
What are his motives?

He likely had a deadline without a story,so,he smoked a joint and came up with this. Anything to sell the paper, right? LOL
