Just saying there was probably a better way to deal withit . Not everyone needed to be involeved to remove the animal safely . We all know already it's going to run so why not leave for the appropriate time and people to deal with it.

Wouldn't have had to block the roads if they didn't chase it off.

I'm done with this tread .

Fish food: do you believe the police and MNR wanted all the people, gawkers and news helicopters all over the place ? You are correct that there was too much action but leaving it alone is not a solution, it would likely end badly. Take out an ad in the paper and try to educate the Citiots.

So why would they call them all . If they call 3 different units and a few people from each place comes. There's a dozen people they just called in then the media and so on. Now just because there was a moose near the road or at the air port now with 20 people around because they called in every one. With having so many involved it's bound to spook it and run.

That is deffenently not the way to do things.

Ok so there is a moose in the area it should not be in . Ok we get that so now let's being the proper process call the appropriate people let them know. That's a start . I bet they all showed up there without a plan without any proper equipment to deal with the situation. The problem cant be solved by sending a dozen people to scene it just doesn't work so why do it. The moose would of moved into the woods without a problem. Having a few people come by when they are ready to look for this moose should have been the proper way.

Can't show up to a gun battle with out a gun right you loose same sinario . Same out come every time it's not their first rodeo they have done this in the past and always same thing. Usually with the animal shot and killed . So why do they bother sending everyone at the same time when the animal is ALWAYS going to run in an uncontrolled way.

Why such a lack of confidence in Bullwinkle, did you not hear about a Moose tagged in Algonquin Park and subsequently located down in the Adirondacks.

Yea. Tried that a few years ago when anterless deer tags were very plentiful. Got told they couldn't accept the meat because there was no way I could guarantee the meat was disease free. Shame really. However, I have learned that only government shelters/food banks can't take the game. A soup kitchen run by a church apparently can.
