All due respect to you, trapper,to a man who knows when it's time to hang 'em up. With all your experience, you'd be an excellent mentor for a new person just getting into it. Like everything else,it's a dying art.

As a fellow trapper I feel your pain. Too bad you couldn't hook up with someone to just ride along, help skin etc. Never say never. The prices for fur are going to be real good this year too - lol.

I feel your pain. At 71 with Parkinson's, I'm realizing I can't train another gun dog. I can't think of one thing good about it to say. Old age ..........unless you still have good health.
