    Default Opening day forecast :(

In 92B 80% chance of rain 10-15mm. Wind 25km from the south....

Decision time. Do I move my day-off to Friday when it will be dry or take a chance & hunt the opener like I always do. Ill be in the blind so if I go Ill stay dry?

Then again it could all change by next week... lol

Depends how much you want to suffer considering you got a month of hunting too go.
If you have the day off go. If you have to take the day off from work I'd rather work and take day off when the weather is better.
Not saying I'm a fair weather hunter but have found cold wet weather stuck in a blind well the birds are as miserable as you are. Clam sunny warm day and the show is much better.
In any case got to work Wednesday but have Thursday and Friday off so come hell or high water I'll be out.

Don't believe a weather man this far in advance :P In saying that, you can't get em from the couch. Patterning will be key to success, being where they want to be as they won't be as vocal. Blind will be set up for myself lol

Weather forecasts change daily, I try to ignore their long range forecasts as they tend to change at least daily !!
Hope for the best, prepare for the worst!

I've shot plenty of turkeys in the rain! You can bet I'll be out, rain or shine.

Rain is why many of us have blinds. I've shot a number of turkeys in have rain storms. The only time I'm a bit concerned is when there is lightning....

The weather man looks out his window the day before and flips a coin LOL to early to predict the weather. Theres something that I love about the opener that it almost doesn't matter how the weather is. Still wishing for some nice weather

Unfotunatly I don’t live in turkey country. My Holliday’s are booked for next week. I have 5 days to get her done. I travel 7 hours to turkey hunt so I make the best of it and spend all 5 full days hunting. Good luck everyone. Gobble Gobble
