    I wouldn't pass on one, they taste much better. So yes I hunt jake wild turkeys LOL

    Absolutely, much better eating. I would take a 16 lb. Jake over a 24 lb. Tom any day...................................Daniel

    That's been my feeling for the past 8-10 yrs...if you plan on serving your family a nice turkey dinner, best to serve them tender meat.

    One wonders for those that answer no if at the 11th hour on the last day a Jake stands in front of you presenting the choice of either a good meal or tag soup what the choice would be.
    If the answer is yup I'd take him than you be a Jake hunter too.
