If you keep doing what you've always done. You'll keep getting what you've always got!

New stuff is good when you have money, used stuff is good even if you have the money.... either way, it's more important to get out then look good...
Similar to golfers, when I first started I only had garage sales golf clubs, no fancy clothes or shoes and seeing all those other guys with the nice clubs, clothes, shoes and bags on the course used to intimated me..................until I seen them hit the ball
Tools even old ones in the right hands can do you wonders.

You forgot:
ATV - $10,000
Hunting Property - $100,000
Cabin Construction - $5,000
Windmill, solar panels, charge controller, deep cycle batteries, 1500 watt pure sine inverter, etc.. - $3,000
I think that puts us at $123,000

WOW!! Just use your old stuff. Think of all the money you just saved for gas and Timmie's.
If a tree falls on your ex in the woods and nobody hears it,you should probably still get rid of your chainsaw. Just sayin'....

I never said I was buying all that new stuff.
My neighbour just bought a used bow for over $1,000.
He's getting arrows and other gadgets as the season begins to approach.
It was raining out and I seen that posted somewhere else and thought " Yup it sounds ridiculous"
but we all have friends who upgrade every year.
Just somewhat amazing how fast it all adds up.

12 arrows? 12 Broadheads? .... your buddy ain't ready for the Bush.
This is a good list for a deer Hunter, now try starting out at 45 hunting. Bow hunting Deer, and then gun hunting for Turkey and Waterfowl (decoys, trailer, calls)... and now Coyote hunting. Different gear for each species.
Mind you I could have continued with golf... membership at the club, new clubs, balls, shoes, clothes, winter trip to the Carolina's, sure adds up for a sport that is only designed to frustrate a person. In golf, you never win, you always are trying to better your last score, you are playing against yourself.
Yes, getting started at hunting has been expensive, but the reward has been ten fold. The meat, but more important, the friendships created.
