it would be good to see bears back in their traditional range. seems stupid to shoot a bear, just because it is walking around southern ontario.

Yeah it's the news every other day about a bear near innisfil .The cops keep chasing just waiting for the right time to shoot it lol.. It's only a matter of time if they keep chasing it back into the woods,it won't go the way they want it too. 0pps .
If the news was about the bears up north that's all they would have for a news program ,a bear was seen here , here and here today keep your kids indoors and don't play outside today kids you may come to close to a bear.

You are right ...
But what you going to do if bears will walk around school's backyards ...?
Hunting will help because bears they will be afraid of people , and which bears will not ....
they will end up in the hunters freezer ....!
We just come back from Bear hunting , 3 of us saw 32 bear, in week and a half ,
but all of the run fast , we only succeeded to harvest one ...

"But what you going to do if bears will walk around school's backyards ...?"
Probably the same thing they do further north when bears go into school yards.

It's called bear wise teach the kids, keep them indoors for a recesse if the bears are near. The kids have a better chance getting injured on the bus in an accident then a bear attack at the school.

Move people out of southern Ontario so the bears can live in peace.
Either someone hunts them or you pay someone to shoot them.
Bears love our crops.
What controls bear population?

A friend set up three tiers of electric fencing around his hives before the big buggers finally got the message. They are some kind of stubborn.
Society needs to stop bending to the will of the delusional.

Came across this interesting article related to the increasing population in Southern Ontario:

"They are hibernating here."
