NOT GUILTY!!!!!! Hopefully he can move on with his life without any theats of reprisals but I suspect he would be wise to move and do so quietly.

Wonder how they would have felt if it had been a Non First Nation person stealing stuff on the reserve, that got shot?

I am sure there would be deafening silence from the snowflake/SJW groups.

Most times it is not the use of deadly force in self defence that is the deterrent, but the idea of deadly force being used against them which can be the greatest deterrent.

Hopefully , would be criminals would take this into account and think twice before committing any crimes , but I highly doubt it.
Also this may be sending a message to the powers that be , that the public [ jury's ] is changing their viewpoint when crimes like this are committed and the perpetrator winds up dead.

I'm really glad the jury acquitted this man. The annals of Canadian case law are full of cases where juries have acquitted people for shooting and killing perps that were either breaking into homes and/or businesses and for shooting at fleeing suspects. The Crown will lay charges in virtually every instance, though,to test each case on it's own merits. In the cold hard light of day, that's the way it should be lest we lapse into the type of society that shoots first and asks questions later or,even worse,a type of society that couldn't care less and merely stacks up the bodies with little or no questions asked like some Central American banana republic.
Society needs to stop bending to the will of the delusional.

I think everyone wants a line, the question is where do you draw it?
