    On most of the plains game the hunters are using calibers similar to whitetail. On the bigger tougher animals Eland, Wildebeest etc similar to what you would see for elk. On the dangerous game like Cape Buffalo, .375 H & H is the starting point. I usually tell most folks hunting with us to use their deer rifle and that .270 makes a sensible starting point. We loan out our personal rifles to hunters that don't want to bring their own and as an example for the above plains game, .308 Mauser, large plains game, Browning .300 Win Mag and dangerous game CZ 550 in .375 H&H and .416 Rigby.
