    Let's hope they can tranq and relocate it. That animal still has a lot of life left.

    I doubt it will be taken to the vet for that injured front leg, but you never know.

    Ah, damnit. There was no mention of an injury when I first read the two-sentence article.

    Yeah, from the video in the link below, that front leg is clearly broken. That moose will almost certainly be put down.

    CBC says it's back in the woods now. No other details. Seems odd.

    Probably not accurate. That moose is coyote food if they put it back in the woods like that. If they actually did put it back in the woods, hopefully it doesn't suffer for too long.

    If they actually did tranquilize it first, I don't think the meat would be fit for human consumption. What a waste!

    Edit. I read the updated article on one site. Apparently it was never tranquilized. It was euthanized. If this was done with drugs, then the meat is wasted.

    In CTV new's report I just read it says it was given to indigenous group. But I doubt that statement if was euthanized.
