Thread: Any kayak fishermen out there? Looking for advice on a purchase

    Can this be salvaged? Heating maybe? I got it for half price... I can bring it back if not satisfied... thoughts?

    Can you access that spot from the inside? If so some heat and gentle persuasion will probably bring it back. Of course whenever you apply heat there is the possibility of cracking which can also be repaired fairly easily. TC

    Could you drill a hole on the top layer and push out bottom layer with a stick. You could plug hole afterwards. Boat plug?

    Sometimes there is a hatch that lets you access parts of the hull.

    Take it back....that is a real problem since the molecular alignment has been disrupted.....always a weak spot

    Hmm... didn't want to hear that! Well, if you think it's a problem, I should take that seriously... It was such a good deal, I figure I could try to correct it and live with it... I have 90 days to decide...
