    Default Trapping Leeches ????

    I made a couple leech traps as per u-tube.
    Tried it in a big creek but had no luck.
    I was using raw venison burger that had freezer burn for bait.
    Anyone one in southern ont have a good bait suggestion's.
    There has to be some leeches in my area.

    Guys I know that have trapped them used liver....Iíve never seen the type of leech they trap for bait down here. Thatís not to say they arenít around though.

    Mix blood with a little bread and stuff sausage skins( or trojans). Keep the mixture thin, but with enough bread that the skins don't squeeze out all the blood when leeches feed.

    Try in area ponds, my friends dad use to do this all the time.

    Used to get them behind the house as a kid with liver in a bent coffee can.

    Id try ponds or lakes with less movement.

    Burlap bag with some liver attached to it.
