Default Crossbow Bolt/Broadhead Recommendations For Moose

I'm using an Excalibur Exocet, and have only used it on deer, with the broad heads and bolts that came with it.

Just wondering what people use for moose, and what you'd recommend.

    Cheers

I use the Exodus 125gr fixed cross-bow head broad-head. They zip and completely pass-through deer and bear with my Excalibur Micro 315. If I went Moose hunting I would use the same broad-head with complete confidence. They shoot them through steel drums so a Moose would be no problem.

Deadly sharp, super tough & great accuracy!

    Good luck with your hunt!

We used 125 grain Thunderheads. I’ve seen good reviews on the Boltcutter broadheads as well.

I have had great results with 100 grain Rage on deer with my old Horton Legend but have heard Excalibur users having excellent results with the 150 grain Bolt Cutters. The heavy 150 grain broadheads would work wonders for moose...…...IMO
