Default Ontario Fish and Wildlife news

Did anybody else get the newsletter from the OMNRF? It's the first time I've received this newsletter.

I found it to be very interesting and useful, in particular, the article on woodcock deaths this spring and the one on conservation officers. I seem to recall a thread on woodcock this spring that discussed how the weather could affect woodcock. At the end of the CO article, if you look carefully, you will find a link to a map of unsolved fish and wildlife cases in Ontario. In that link you can see the map, but you can also see the information in a tabular format. There seems to be a lot of moose poaching going on relative to deer poaching. I wonder if that is real or just the result of people being more inclined to report moose poaching because of the amount of meat being wasted, or maybe it's just easier to spot a 1000 lb animal left in the woods than a 150 lb animal?
