Default Video: 11-Point Buck Visits The Community Scrape (Ottawa - Nov. 24)

    Hello All,

Only two bucks visited the community scrape this past week - this nice 11-point (who last stopped by 28 days ago) and the wonky left side antler buck, who showed up on Nov. 2.

    Cheers,

    Justin

Only one doe actually stopped at the scrape and actually took a nibble on the licking branch. The others just happened to be feeding/passing through.

Strange isn't it.... I least I think so.....I thought the entire reason for scrapes was to tell the girls he is around..... things that make you go um?.....

I was told by an old hunter that "the only use for a scrape was to tell a hunter that there was a deer there once". He said he spent far to many hours sitting over scrapes and never seeing any action.

Justine results seem to prove out that theory.
