Has too much time on their hands
Sorry, we forgot to take pics
A typically fun outing; some spectacular shots and some jaw-dropping misses!

Not great. It was a Xmas present for my nephew and he has the right attitude but lacks experience. That will come in time.
Secondly my Setter ripped open her pad on the front left paw on some ice and that ended the day for us. She is now house bound until it heals but it is improving quickly. I bet in a week she’s good to go. She really got pizzed tonight when she got left behind from our walk.

here's to a speedy recovery. Had a similar experience earlier. Put Nova down in the bush and within 10 minutes noticed he badly gashed his back heal. Brought him back the vehicle cleaned and bandaged however managed to salvaged the day as Stella double shifted that day.

We are heading out to Birds Eye View next Saturday. What are your thoughts about the game farm itself?? Never been. We went out to another game farm last March and the birds were put in a small pen. You can see the birds and the dog pointed it till it got up out of the pen and we shot. Not fun. I want a real hunting experience.

Been there a few times. Bruce is a nice guy and his birds are healthy strong flyers. Cover is open farm fields with usually some dead brush piles and Xmas trees. Earlier in the season you will have grass & hay for birds to hide but right now not so much. Your dogs will get a good workout anyway.
