    Here are a cupla pics of my latest build to show the figure in the stock. I rubbed a bit of alcohol on it to pop the grain. You have to imagine a dark stain on it................Daniel146_3916.jpg146_3918.jpg

    Nice touch to orient the screws, not sure if that was by design but its feature I see on high end MLs.

    Nice piece of wood. Should look good with a darker stain

    I plan on using aqua fortis to darken and pop the figure and then a few coats of tung oil............Daniel
