2019 ice season
Did you get out as much as you wanted and how were the fish numbers and quality when you did.
My season down here was not the best mostly do to ice conditions on St Clair. If you stayed in tight the ice was good but my fishing grounds are miles off shore and I don't walk anymore so with sketchy ice at times I didn't make it out as much as I wanted. When I did numbers and quality were good.
Made our annual trip to Lake Simcoe in early February and we hit the mother load. Excellent numbers and quality. I stored away the ice gear, auger, huts, etc. on the weekend

I did good for lakers this winter, but no big ones this year. Tried for walleye Saturday and packed it in, the winds were horrible. Gas auger Handle are touching ice before you punch through. Didn’t fish as much this year, -40’s C don’t turn my crank anymore.

Cochrane District. We got quite the winter this year with tons of snow and super cold weather.

I was up at Algonquin Park a few weeks ago snowmobiling and they had 4' of snow. Looks like north got a winter but here in the banana belt only had a week or two of winter
