Our corn and beans are still way behind. It looks like we might get some rain today and tomorrow.

good forecast for the fall john. i agree. corn is often combined the week of the first controlled hunt in november. i forsee it being a bit later. we are coming off a harvest from hell last year so im interested to see how this one works out. if our weather stays warm, i hope that our geese might stick around the fields a bit longer as i didnt really see alot of flyers over my fields until november.

Rain! yesterday we had a total of 57mm, last friday we had 64mm, I think that's enough for a while, a day or two any way.

Most corn here in Russell didn't get put in until the 1'st week of June and some the second and it's barley at my knees for the earlier corn, seems to me that by Late July the cobs should be starting to form..
