Salmon Run Question
I would like to travel 3.5 hrs west to Manitoulin or Algoma mills for fly fishing fall salmon. Should I go thus weekend or next weekend? I don't want to spend all the gas money and time to find none or very few going up the steam. Thanks for your feedback.

After rain events there is normally a big count in the ladder.
Click the green bars for each day and you can see video of each fish. It's kind of addictive however.

The rain we got yesterday will get the fish moving to the streams. It has been very dry in most of Grey- Bruce unto yesterday. In August our area got 3.7 cm of rain. Yesterday we got 4.8 cm. This will definitely fill the rivers and streams.

Update. Water levels were high. Barely coming in. Seems like numbers are down.
I spoke to someone on the island. said that they stopped stocking and cormorants are feasting. Hardly any at Kagawong. Not sure about Providence
