Moon river steele head
I'm wondering if anyone has had some experience catching steele head on the moon river muskoka?

Did not know there were Rainbows in the Moon. Perhaps at the mouth at Georgian Bay................Daniel

I my opinion, Steelhead are a rainbow trout species that live in the ocean , then move into the fresh water rivers to spawn.
I did not realize that these fish would travel as far as Georgian Bay during this migration run.
As for native Ontario trout species that I know as Rainbow trout, there might be some kind of run in the moon.
They are know to be at Port Severn, Coldwater Creek, Parry Sound etc.
Might find a few at the Moon.

Rainbow trout are not native to Ontario.
The term 'Steelhead' simply refers to their anadromous nature. I'm sure the thread could have done without the sarcasm!
