Do you even hunt?
Have you actually been outside this season? Fired a shot??
Any dumbass can look out their window and see geese migrating almost every day right now. To say theres nothing but residents is ridiculous.

I was in town yesterday afternoon and the geese were flying, just over the hydro lines and dropping in on the lawns of the factories.
It was rather maddening to see them there , lots of them, instead of out in the country, they are getting " cityfied " I guess they know where they are safe.
Hopefully, they will be out in the country as soon as the framers start combining corn and the geese will take on some fat and taste better because as of now and the early season which I and others pass on as the goose flesh has no flavour because they have been and still are eating mainly grass off the freshly mowed lawns of factories and golf courses.
However , it may be some time yet for the corn to ripen as it is still very green and cobs not fully formed, also the soy beans around here are a couple of weeks away from maturing.
There are quite a few of us that don't get into goose hunting till we come back after moose hunting the end of Oct. but we do go after ducks which seem plentiful around here.

Some large flocks have flown south on Lake Erie
I have a friend who has a beautiful pasture with a ravine in center 300-400 geese every morning and night. But his new wife is anti hunt.
