I - we just finished a Backpack (in Winter sled) and Canoe Moose hunt
2 km puling the canoe throe old logging road , paddling on creek and river .
I was so tired needed 5 days ( beside my regular job) to get rested fill better when I get home .
But it was worthwhile good adventure .
Not so many younger hunter are willing to do .
Feeling it this year actually. Had a bad fall on October 1 about 2 weeks ago walking out from a bow hunt and still not really back on my feet. Have not been out scouting or hunting since and the November rifle hunt looks iffy at this point.

Backpack hunting, I wish I lived out west... and was 20-30 years younger LOL
Species, I read about your fall - get better, if you need help dragging that deer out of the bush, let me know

Yes it is an old tread ,
I brought back to life with intention
that some new hunters get interested in this type of hunt
that can take them away from the hunting crowed ,
to the place where the game are ....
