Great hunt with finsfurfeathers and Stella & Nova
A nice crisp sunny morning spent with David and his two English Setters, Stella and Nova. Stella is a five year old female who gave us lots of opportunities to shoot at and sometimes even connect with a few pheasants. Stella is a great dog and it was a pleasure watching her work the birds. Nova is a 2 year old male who has boundless energy and covered lots of ground today.
I know that David missed some birds just to make me feel better, or not. A great day with me shooting 2 hens, one with a band and David shooting 2 roosters, one with a band. We walked lots of miles and had some good natured ribbing. I was really happy how my new (to me) over under performed.
Thanks again to David and his two dogs Stella& Nova.
I’m looking forward to another great hunt in the future.

Yeah... David thought it was a joke when the person in charge released a WHITE bird for us in the SNOW. Then he nailed it anyway!
I actually know a supplier who has lots of white birds.
