NGD :)
So my pal finally came in last week and I've been working nights since. Last night was my last one, got home at 7am went to bed at 8am up at 11am on the road to the city at 12am(6 hours of driving round trip). So I picked up these two beauty's.
Top - Remington 870 Express
Bottom - Ruger 10/22
Tomorrow I'm off to test them out.

Pretty good assortment. Have fun.

Has too much time on their hands
Two good selections .... you may need to try a variety of ammo in the 10/22 to find what has the accuracy you need but in general they are both good and reliable choices. It was a long time ago and I don't remember if it was an 870 but if you are using a pump in the winter you should look up the best way to lubricate it since too much oil can result in a stuck spring or firing pin... I don't know what caused it but in some real cold weather they had issues.
BUT....
Based on the new list of firearms restrictions in New Zealand ..... looks like both are on the list ... so just a reminder to vote.
