Divers?

Anybody out for divers this weekend? I am planning to try Rice Lake, but I don't see any rafts of birds. I was wondering if anyone else is having any luck....

They started to show early this week on Scugog. Must have been 3 to 400 birds south of the causeway yesterday afternoon...

Seen them too most were Ringnecks

I wasn't targeting them specifically but I had a few flocks come in this morning. The usual trickle on Simcoe but the main push hasn't come yet.

you go around peterborough for birds much? i'm looking for a hunting partner for ducks. i got a canoe and some decoys

Saw rafts of buffleheads and goldeneyes this morning on the Ottawa River near Crystal Beach the first time this year this morning. Can't hunt the area but it does mean they're here.

How'd you make out on rice? Its been a slow season for me. Unusually slow.

Theres some black and whites around, but not too many bluebills have stuck around this whole season.

Seen a bunch of butterballs driving by the bog three times this week. Few bills also. Sounded like a war zone at the bog duck club Tuesday morning.

I didn't make it out. The wind was wrong, and there was too much of it. It has iced up here, so I pulled out my boat. I may get out once more, depending on my deer hunt and the weather.

We got a 4 man limit of buffy's around the 26th of October and have been seeing some bigger groups of blues starting to move,

Even some teal last weekend....
