Last hoorah before the deer season

Happy to see you and Stella nailed more birds again FFF.

I was out with Dexter on Sunday and didn't see any grouse or woodcock on a four hour outing south of Bancroft.
Had snow, hail, rain, some sunny periods, and we did get into nasty terrain "for fun" also.

Deer hunters poured in all weekend long and started setting up for their hunt, but I will start my rifle hunt when I return there on Thursday as we just put out some fresh bait on private land.
It's good to have the courtesy of not going out for birds during the short deer season, but in reality, ALL hunters have the right to enjoy their respective activities during the legal open season. I do what I can/want when I can/want. Respect others and hope to be respected as well.

No birds in the bag for me so far, and no moose harmed in 2019, so perhaps deer will cooperate like they did last year.
