It’s a 1936 JP Sauer in 16ga...we’ve been dating since late summer and I’m trying to fall in love with her. LOL

Surprised any upland hunters would be slowing down right now. Why wouldn’t you hunt grouse in December? Prettiest time of year to be in the woods, get an extra month at a pastime you have thousands of $ invested in, get to hunt real wild birds and the dogs are sharpened up on the pen reared birds...I’ll be going as hard as time and gas money permits for the next 5 weeks.
I hunt grouse right up to the last day of the season if snow depth permits, then its rabbit hunting till the end of February.
