It is what it is at this point. Don't think the deer would of survived the winter without any fat on it so probably spared it from a brutal death by shooting it.
Yes I will post the results when I get notified of them.

Yeah. A deer with no fat reserves going into winter would have likely died an unpleasant death. Will be interesting to hear what they come up with?

Well the good news is that the deer tested negative for CWD. Bad news is that I still don't know what was wrong with the deer because they only tested for CWD.

Probably should have swung it by a butcher to have him give you an opinion. They usually have seen it all.
