So I’ve been to Lake of bays.
About 6-8 inches of ice, slush on top of it and lots of snow....
Fishing very slow.
Fish came up on the flasher sniffed around, but wouldn’t hit.
Only managed to get one 2lbs laker.
Beautiful lake, though.

At this time of year on Lake of Bays we always target lake trout at depths not less than 65FT and not over 85FT.
It always seams to work and we mark fish on the finders. Also at this depth the whities seam to be with the lakers.
