I fished it a few times when they had the big fishing derby (Yamaha?). Big water compared to what I’m used to around here. Need a gps in a snowstorm. Lol

Yes there is lots of water to roam around. I fish the entire east side and that still gives me plenty of options. .
Definitely need a compass or gps in white outs i headed the wrong way about 14 or 15 years ago walked 2 or 3 km in the wrong direction. Nasty out heavy squalls out of no where all day . I k ow a guy a few years ago stepped out of the hut to take a pee . He ended up 8 km away with no coat there was a search sent out but it was useless until it cleared. My friend was in the same area I immediately called him he thought he heard someone yelling but every time he checked he didnt call till a minute later. He felt so horrible because he thought he heard him but didnt know what he was hearing it was that bad out there.
He was in his vehicle with jps and said it was a horrible drive back in. Its cracks are bad aswell at times ,puts many machines in the lake. 3 went down the same crack near me on the weekend. Once it get recovered the next one goes in.
