There is a petition on Face Book to open the ramps. Sorry I don't know how to post the link. It was sent to me by a friend.......................Daniel

Assuming you were on that page for the petition. Right click the address bar at the top and copy. Then go to your post here, right click and paste.

You can get a million signatures and it would not make a difference. They are not opening until this is over.

And to be honest, I'm not "totally" against it. I do feel, the larger, better ones should be closed for now. They are magnets. Smaller ones, or unmanned ones, I'm less convinced. For now, Im more inclined to feel, lets rip the bandaid off. Some pain that ends sooner, rather than pulling it off slowly.

As it stands today, Crappie, Perch and likely Walleye are toast. There might be a window, that we could be back on the water, or shore fishing at public spacesfor Walleye. That window is closing with each day. And think to, of all the tourism operators that have cottages/resorts rented...As bad as we want it....

JB, when the busy ramps are closed, the other ramps would become busy in a hurry. It’s all or nuthin

Yeah its looking grim more and more every day. The next update will just before or on the opener if they extend it again the shore spots on the 16th will be closed aswell. They will more than likely extend the emergency plans as if they they see better or it's starting to they will continue with he emergency act.
Given the fact of it being mothers days weekend and opener means large gatherings they wont want to lift the restrictions.

I have a spot and my waders waiting for the 16th . I know a spot that can fit a couple people of a beaten path that will fit 2 people [emoji6]

I think we can safely say we will be in these restrictions or worse for the next month. The opener will be ruined for many but the fish will love it.

I would like it though if the drive in will open in Lindsey this year lol. Love the 20 dollar car full night. Yeah it's a late night and I usually always go to work in the morning leaving me with only a nap before work lol. But it's worth it.

Yeah. There’s a few small/unmaintained near me. The one across the street is unmaintained. But there’s only parking for about 5 depending on vehicle/trailer. So while some would just go to them, it would spread them out, and put a limit on how many could be at the ramp. Ultimately I’d just as soon rip the bandaid off.

Many will never find or know about the open ramps. With the main ramps closed it's only the little ones. They will be restricted to boat size and parking many dont know about the little ones.

Unless you know already I dont think people will be driving around just looking for a ramp to launch at. People will not drive an hour or 2 away with the boat just in Hope's to find one.
