This is not correct.You can definitely hunt with 30/06 in many areas in Ontario where there is restriction on small game hunting with Center fire riles of larger then .277 cal.
Only You can NOT hunt small game with it.
Big game-any time,when season is open for the gun/game and You have credentials to do so.
Plus-the restrictions do not go by WMU, they go by "geographic areas".They are generally Counties.If the WMU matches the geographic area-so be it.If not-one needs to know what the regulation is,before losing opportunity or running into problems.Regardless of being the advisor or being advised..........
