Default Fishermans to Shell Pier June 28

We hit the water by 6:00am.... Headed toward Shells Pier.... Hit the first fish right away. 110FOW 45feet down on a green and blue spin doctor and fly combo.... The other 2 fish were caught on spoons...... We fished in 80-120 FOW most of the day....... This was my nephews first Salmon of his life. With a little bit of instructions (coaching) he managed to bring it in (15lbs or so).......He was very happy as this was his biggest fish he has ever caught....
An hour later we got a shaker and maybe an hour after that we got another smaller salmon.... Very calm out there today... Off the water by 11:30.... Boy was it busy getting out of the water today, lots of people lined up.....

If you get the chance you should try it, especially mid to late August when they are starting to stack up in the lake by the river mouths..... Some great catches can be had at that time.... well worth a trip...
