The amount of prep time depends on where/how you hunt. For deer and moose hunting, I travel away from home. I’m fortunate to have a deer camp, but camp out for moose. To make things easier, I keep a list on my laptop of what to bring. For deer hunting, I can be on the road in a half an hour. Packing for moose hunting takes about an hour and a half. Shopping for food and sighting in my rifle adds additional time however.

Too early for me...if I start this early, I forget what I’ve packed !! I’ll start getting the Argo and trailer ready though.

never too soon to start, find the opps from last year and repair/replace. I live with lists and its easier to start picking at it early.

Moose hunting is just another weekend at the camp for me. I just wear a orange hat instead of camo.
