Specks/brookies
Just wondering if anyone does any ice fishing for specks north of the GTA?
I dont mind driving and I have all the gear....willing to trade some speck/brookie ice fishing for a spring Turkey hunt...

For closer fishing you should just fish simcoe perch. Specks will be a long haul on crappy winter weather roads.

2.5-3 hrs NE of you there’s a few stocked lakes that can be good. Only thing that sucks is access some of them are a horrible hike into. The Bancroft stocking list should be updated soon

I have stayed in the wilberforce area years ago....just wouldnt mind getting out and meeting some new people as well...

That would be so awesome....Its been maybe 15 or 17 years since I've fished for specks....thankyou for the offer and I will take you up on that....much appreciated
