    Just wondering if anyone does any ice fishing for specks north of the GTA?
    I dont mind driving and I have all the gear....willing to trade some speck/brookie ice fishing for a spring Turkey hunt...

    For closer fishing you should just fish simcoe perch. Specks will be a long haul on crappy winter weather roads.

    2.5-3 hrs NE of you there’s a few stocked lakes that can be good. Only thing that sucks is access some of them are a horrible hike into. The Bancroft stocking list should be updated soon

    I have stayed in the wilberforce area years ago....just wouldnt mind getting out and meeting some new people as well...
