As simple as the title says.

Do you keep both eyes open when shooting?
I know a few people who do
    And a few who don't

What are the pros and cons?
What are you comfortable with ?

I've tried keeping both eyes open a few times and I cant get it to stick with me .

My uncle says he always shoots with both eyes open.

Curious of what of some of you guys do.

Yep, as much as possible, sometimes the sun direction screws that up though and I squint.

If you can get used to it and your eyes allow it you can see the target in the non-dominant eye and the target magnified through the scope.

It works a lot better to get on target quicker or with things moving.

Yes, with a shotgun or open sights on a rifle or pistols, but with a scope I close my left eye.

Be it gun or bow both eyes stay open, depth perception is important.

People squawk about target acquisition with scoped rifles, with both eyes open its pretty easy.

How is it one careless cigarette can cause a forest fire, but it takes a whole box of matches to light a campfire?

Just the one. Tried to train myself to keep both eyes open for target acquisition but no luck.
