Default Prospective trapper - Looking for traps

Looking for anyone selling traps in Southern Ontario, in the area of London if possible. Looking to expand my collection in anticipation for trapping next fall. A quick note, I am not a beaver trapper, so I'm not really looking for 330 or 220 conibears or massive legholds traps. Even if you don't want to sell any of your traps, but you know a good place to buy them from, I'd appreciate it.

Completed the course and trapped for a year back on PEI, but now that I moved here not only do I have no knowledge of where to get anything or where to go, I gotta do the course again! Feels like being back at square one, so I'm open to help from any locals.

Just a heads-up - You can't possess traps in Ontario unless you are licensed or a farmer. I'm not sure whether your PEI course will transfer over, or whether you'd have to take the Ontario course to trap. Call the MNR or the OFMF to find out.

If you need a course call Dave Heyblom at 519-764-2688. He is in Shedden which is likely closest to you. Also he is a good guy and a great resource in the area.

Ah shoot. Back home on PEI I was allowed to buy them before being licensed, so I didn't figure it would be different here. Now I'm really back at square one!
