Yeah the season ends on the 15th. In terms of weather unless the lake freezes before them you can fish as long as you can stand the cold lol

They continue to bite until about 36°F.
They start to shutdown around that temperature.
Between 42° and 36° just slow your presentation way down. Low and slow.

We went to Lighthouse Cove yesterday. Fished from 10:00am to 3:00pm. Water temp was 42 deg.
There were about 5 other boats, maybe 8 people casting from shore. Nobody had any bites. Looked like every single one of us was casting bulldawgs and shadzillas. We spent time casting the medusa and shadzilla, also did some trolling at 3kph. Didn't even see a fish. Actually that's not true, we saw one big swirl, and also tried to revive a 42" floater up river with out any luck.
Good luck. Post back if you go...

I was also out to lighthouse yesterday.
Fished about 7-1230.
Saw one fish caught out at the mouth.
Only one all day.
Did a lot of casting, and a little trolling.
We didn't have one bite.
In my experience it's been a very slow fall.
Just my opinion.
