Default Soon to be newly licenced trapper

I took the course 4 1/2 years ago and have the exam results, certificate and the landowners form ready to go. I've been told that I need to go to the MNR district office where I live (and plan to trap) so that I can be assigned a quota. Is there an application form to fill out or do I complete that at the MNR office (Kemptville)? Any information that you can offer a newbie would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks!

It has been a while since I got my first private land license so it might have changed a bit.

There is a form on the OFMF website. You have to sign up your land owners first with their acreage and property locations. The form then goes to local MNR with your trapping course info and the Wildlife Tech will then assign you a quota. The form then goes to OFMF with the license fee and they mail you your license. It has been a while as I said but it goes something like that. Just call the OFMF in the Sault and they will talk you through the process.

    Good luck.
