Just ate my first Canada goose and ducks
Hey guys,
I was finally able to eat the first game ever. Had my first goose I got hunting with Snowwalker and ducks that Skeeter shot, cooked by my dad. Thank you for these ducks and goose by the way Skeeter and Snowwalker
I got to say these were the most delicious eats I've ever had. Made soup of the goose and roasted the breasts and smoked the ducks. So awesome. I just wanted to post this for the new hunters to encourage going for it as the result is definitely worth it.
Happy hunting guys
Mateo

Nope, no turning back.
One of our personal favourites is smoking a single Goose breast. Typically do it in a rub we have and then a stronger wood. Once done, let cool and slice into thin strips. Fantastic appetizer with crackers, cheese and apple slices. If going to, or hosting a dinner party, two breast.

Awesome! Nothing tastes better than meat you worked hard for. Soon you won't want to buy meat again.
Always great to hear about hunters helping new hunters.

Thanks guys!!! The ways of cooking them are endless. My last outing on Sunday was very uneventful as we didn't see a single bird in the sky. However it was still awesome since I was able to take my brother out for his first hunt. Hopefully we get something next week
