Default Vetmedin or Pimobendan for Heart Conditions

Had one of my dogs at the cardiologist this week.
    She has major heart disease.
    Was using Pimobendan liquid.
Heads up to anyone using this:
Pimobendan (Vetmedin) is not stable in the liquid form.
It is available in Canada in capsules which are too large for my tiny dog to swallow.
Got in made into liquid form.
Cardiologist advised me that a new study shows that the liquid form is not stable, over dosing or under dosing can occur.
Cardiologists are working hard to make the entire veterinary community aware of this.
Beef flavored tablets can be ordered via the USA. Mine are on their way.
Especially helpful for tiny dogs who cannot swallow large capsules or only require half a tablet.
The powder inside the capsules is very yucky tasting so trying to hide the taste in a food proved fruitless.
If your dog is on the liquid form of Pimobendan (Vetmedin), you should switch to capsules or tablets.

My attitude towards you depends upon how you have treated me.
