    Default Muzzleloader season

So, I was able to get away to hunt this weekend with the muzzleloader with a bunch of buddies. Haven't really deer hunted my farm this late before and even though we didn't get one, on Friday night I saw a buck and doe as I went to check a field. Then Sunday morning around 730am buddy saw 2 does at about 75 yards away. We had to switch back to the bows though Sunday because the season only goes to the Saturday. Anyways all in all felt great to see 4 deer in 2 days. Lots of fresh tracks also which was encouraging.

Alot of guys I been speaking to that did the muzzleloader or controlled week said the same. No action. High winds really cold. But like clock work at my place as soon as the snow stops, suns out and no wind, deer are instantly on their feet and visible. Pretty prissy deer in my area lol
