    Does anyone shoots CVA Optima V2 Muzzleloader?
    What pellet and bullets do you use? How accurate is it?

    90 grains of blackthorn 209 powder. 350 gr hornady sst sabot. The weight of the powder is by volume. Never was a fan of the pellets. All my shooting is done inside a 100 yards.

    110 grains of blackhorn 209 powder with a 250 grain dead center bullet. very accurate out to 200 yards

    Three in our group now use this gun. We switched to Blackhorn 209 for easy loading. Pyrodex and white hots needed swabbing after each shot. We use 90 gr volume or 63 grains by weight. I use Remington 303 grain 44 cal bullets with hornady green sabots and this is a accurate load in my cva.
    Experience is what you gain when you didn't get what you wanted.

    Many are called but only a few are chosen.
