One way to convince people of the quality of a product is to hike the price. So it's actually not too surprising to see Golden Doodles going for $1400.
The internet may place all kinds of info in people's hands, but it doesn't help them identify misinformation -- indeed, the evidence suggests quite the opposite.

I'm getting a walker/poodle/Setter/lab/Rottweiler mix. Only paying $8000 for the pup but have to sign a breeding contract. The seller wants to cross her with a bear if she survives the first year. I get to keep the pick of the litter. Wonder how much I could sell that pup for? The wife was disappointed Santa didn't bring her a Range Rover. I told her they were out of stock.

Wow they saw you coming ,I bought an American Pointing Labrapit for only $4,000 registered with the H.B.KC ,Hillbilly Kennel Club. It came with health insurance, a needle and thread and a box of grits for the first 8 months of the puppies life.
