Gagnon's in Oshawa is your best bet. Hastings barrels can't be beat.
If a tree falls on your ex in the woods and nobody hears it,you should probably still get rid of your chainsaw. Just sayin'....

Tried all the usual places, nobody seems to be importing them anymore. I found a online place but didn't have the one I want. Might have to drive to the US, if allowed to bring across border

Just a word of warning... The CBSA is OK with you declaring and paying taxes on some firearm parts, and/or ammunition on your way back to Canada, not so however EXITING the US with said item.

Firearm parts for shotguns IIRC fall under the jurisdiction of the US Department of Commerce and a "small parts exemption" does not apply.

Now, mind you, these are old links and I would advise you enquire and research yourself for more pertinent info. Suffice it to say that it's not enough to just head over across the border, buy the barrel and declare it on your way back on the Canadian side. If, for whatever reason you get stopped on the US side there are consequences.

Sorry, just erring on the side of caution here. If anyone else here has had more recent experiences contrary to what I just said please chime in. This is a case where I would kindly ENJOY being wrong, seeing that I would like to get a barrel or two from the States as well...

Not sure if they are even made anymore.

We tried ordering one through Epps....they said these barrels are made by Verney Carron in France as Hastings went out of business?

The order never came in as they said somehow during shipping all the barrels got rust and water damage....

I ended up just buying a 20guage with rifled barrel.

It shoots better than my dad's heavy barrel hastings.....Much lighter too.

Thanks found them right off the bat, have one with a muzzle break which I don't want, and the other on says that it is only 20" long. Hope the 20 inch is a misprint if it's 24 will probably buy it. Have to wait till Tuesday to find out. Hopefully they can order in the 26 inch heavy barrel or a 24 inch regular one.
