goose recipe??
Does someone has good goose recipe? It usually come pretty tough!

I do my goose breast in a slow cooker like pulled pork. So any pulled pork recipe will do. After its done just pull it apart and put it in a bun with bbq sauce,lettuce and some cheese. I found this way the best tasting

I do pulled goose breasts as well, is more of a pulled beef than pork , here is what I do.
Give 4 to 6 breasts a salt water brine for 24hrs changing water a few times.
Rinse breasts then place in crockpot, cover in apple juice and you can add any spices you like. I usually go with the staple S P G O and steak spice. Cook on low for 8 hrs, take breasts out and pull, discard juices from crockpot, return pulled breast to crockpot as well as a sliced onion, red or green pepper and cover in your favourite BBQ sauce and give it all a stir. Cook on low to med until onion and peppers have softened, usually a couple hrs, serve on your favourite style of bun and I like to top it with a horseradish mayo. Enjoy!
I love fishing but REALLY it is just a way to pass time until hunting season!!!!

I do the crockpot thing and when I have time do cutlets... They do come out really good

Goose is a red meat, no fat marbling, so it can be tough if cooked wrong. You can basically substitute goose meat in many recopies for beef, such as stews, Chillie, stir frys, Fahitias, BBQ Steak, Snitchel, Corned Goose, it goes on and on.
Follow the the 5 rule... cook it on high for less then 5 minutes, or cook it on low for more then 5 hours.
and of course depending upon how many to take a year, pepperettes are great for handing out to landowners as a thank you, or when asking for permission.
